With kense out of town again this week, Lord Byron flew solo and was joined in the studio by Everton Blenda and a special guest on the mic.
On Saturday 7th July, Rogue Soul’s kense will be appearing at the infamous Bruk Up at the Hare & Hounds, Kings Heath, Birmingham.
If you were at Bruk Up last year when kense played alongside CoOp’s Alex Phountzi, or were lucky enough to catch him at Dance Regular last weekend, you’ll know that seeing him on the livestream videos is one thing but hearing him mix live is a whole ‘nother level.
Headlining the night will be broken beat royalty T-Roy from Broadcite, who will no doubt bring plenty of bruk heat to make you move your feet.
This week, kense and Lord Byron got warmed up for their gig at Dance Regular, where they would be joined by occasional rogue Kwai, as well as Urban Dubz head honcho Jeremy Sylvester, and EVM128 and James Rudie from the infamous Selectors Assemble. kense played a tidy selection of Kaidi Tatham tracks in anticipation of Kaidi’s new album being released in a couple of weeks, including a hot new track from that album.
With kense back in town, it was back to business as usual for another lively session.
On Sunday 24th June 2018, Rogue Soul will be appearing alongside Urban Dubz head honcho Jeremy Sylvester and CoOp Presents favourites EVM128 and James Rudie, down at DANCE REGULAR at Rolling Stock, Kingsland Road, London E2 8DN.
Come join us at the launch of this new party for the ‘jazz steppers, bass heads, gold teeth, Valentinos and dreads’.
You already know how we do, and this will be the first time that we’ll have played out together as ‘Rogue Soul’ so you know you don’t want to miss this!
Of course, Jeremy Sylvester needs no introduction. Expect him to bring a darker twist on his garage house sound.
EVM128 and James Rudie are two of the new school’s finest, firmly embedded in the London scene and pushing boundaries in the broken beat, garage and house scenes.
Bring your dancing shoes, this ain’t the place for standing still.
